Position Summary

Warehouse Shipper/Receiver is responsible for processing orders within the warehouse area: receiving stock, shipping out orders and transfers, working with our logistics team and Third Party carriers to arrange deliveries.

You will be working as a part of a team to provide a superior quality of service to our customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare orders for our company trucks to deliver to customers or transfer between branches (pull materials, package and label appropriately, place orders in pickup or shipping area as indicated on paperwork)
Inspect incoming shipments for damage and follow company procedures when damaged goods arrive Maintain inventory levels in showroom
Communicate with customers, branches and carriers when required to make shipping arrangements
Complete shipping logs and forklift safety
Count inventory
Maintain forklift in order, advise supervisor of repairs required
Ensure quality service by following company standards
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in a fastpaced warehouse environment
Experience with warehouse equipment
Experience operating forklift
Strong attention to detail both written and spoken
Personable and enjoy assisting customers
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
