to place at our client, within an Enterprise Retailer.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated SAP Forecasting System Upgrade Specialist to play a crucial role in our upcoming project to enhance our forecasting system. This project involves upgrading from SAP F&R to SAP UDF (Unified Demand Forecasting) within the context of the SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository).
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Upgrade SAP Forecasting System**: Lead the upgrade process from SAP F&R to SAP UDF, ensuring a smooth transition and improved forecasting capabilities.
2. **SAP UDF Expertise**: Possess a deep understanding of SAP UDF within the SAP CAR environment, with the ability to implement and optimize it effectively.
3. **Functional Expertise**: Serve as a functional expert in demand forecasting, offering insights and expertise to enhance forecasting accuracy.
4. **Integration Knowledge**: Demonstrate strong knowledge of the integration between SAP and UDF, facilitating seamless data flow from the UDF platform.
5. **Configuration Validation**: Verify and validate system configurations to ensure they align with business needs and objectives.
6. **Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the forecasting system upgrade.
7. **Opportunity Identification**: Identify opportunities to improve the CAR applications and offer insights into enhancing system functionality.
8. **Project Management**: Assist in project management activities, helping to meet project deadlines and objectives.
9. **EST Availability**: Be available during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours for effective communication and collaboration with the team.
10. **2024 Roadmap**: Contribute to the development of the 2024 roadmap for forecasting improvements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with SAP UDF and SAP CAR is essential.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP F&R forecasting.
Experience with SAP and UDF integration.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
