Description

Securiguard is looking for highly capable security and investigations professionals for our Loss Prevention Team.

As a member of our Undercover Retail Crime Team, you will be working in teams of 2-4, patrolling select retail stores.

As part of your role, you will be apprehending shoplifters, following prolific offenders, and gathering related intelligence on current crime activity.

What you would bring:

Valid BC Security Worker License
AST (preferred)
Previous Security Experience 1year (required)
Loss Prevention Experience
6 months (required)
Must be flexible to work in multiple stores/locations
Must be able to stand for an 8hour period
Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis
Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required
Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor
Excellent judgment and decisionmaking ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to arrest, recover and conduct mobile and static surveillance of persons, groups, vehicles, and addresses
Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictate
