    OUR CLIENT IS HIRING AN AZ SHUNT DRIVER

    JOB: AZ SHUNT DRIVER

    PAY: $25/HR + (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

    TYPE: FULL TIME

    LOCATION: GUELPH

    REFERENCE:

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    VALID AZ DRIVERS LICENSE WITH A CLEAN RECORD

    PREVIOUS SHUNT EXPERIENCE A MUST

    MUST HAVE LICENSE AND EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION

    FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE AN ASSET (ESPECIALLY DIESEL), BUT TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

    ABILITY OF LIFT AND MOVE HEAVY OBJECTS IN THE YARD

    ABILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE IN ALL CANADIAN WEATHER CONDITIONS

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    SHUNT TRAILERS BETWEEN VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE YARD OR BETWEEN DIFFERENT SITES.

    SAFELY MANEUVER TRAILERS IN TIGHT SPACES AND AROUND OBSTACLES.

    ASSIST WITH LOADING AND UNLOADING TRAILERS USING A FORKLIFT WHEN NECESSARY.

    MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS AND ORGANIZATION OF THE YARD BY REMOVING DEBRIS AND ORGANIZING INVENTORY.

    COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH DISPATCH AND OTHER DRIVERS TO COORDINATE TRAILER MOVEMENTS.
