Reports To - Senior Manager, Sales and Service


Department:
Ticketing


Summary:
Represent the Edmonton Elks Football Club for the promotion and sales of ticket products.

The expectation is to sell all ticket products, including season ticket packages, mini-game packages, name-your-game packages, group sales, and premium seating.


Job Duties

  • Responsible for the sale of Edmonton Elks Football Club ticket products, specifically season seats, subscription ticket packages, premium seating, and group tickets
  • Assist the Director of Ticket Sales & Service in developing sales forecasts, budgets, prospect lists, and targets.
  • Contact clients to make repeat sales
  • Recommend addition of new products and modification or deletion of present products to the line based on understanding of customer needs
  • Manage and maintain prospects and pipeline effectively
  • Attainment of all assigned sales objectives and targets
  • Continually develop new business through prospecting techniques and outgoing contacts.
  • Always ensure a high level of quality customer service
  • Address customer issues/complaints in accordance with Club's policy
  • Maintain uptodate customer records in accordance with Club's policies and practices and report all changes immediately
  • Work with stadium operators and suppliers to ensure all aspects of service are met
  • Provide ongoing communication and feedback to the director
  • Prepare and submit all required sales reports and other related administrative tasks
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Game Day Duties:
  • Work in the sales booth during games to develop new leads
  • Work in premium seating areas to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with appropriate onsite service providers
  • Visit key clients and contacts
  • Work with team operations to ensure proper activation of all promotional programs
  • Offer all clients and customers point of contact service
  • Help with setup which includes some physical labour (must be able to lift 50 + lbs regularly)

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong prospecting and client building skills
  • Assertive, selfstarter with proven ability to manage time wisely
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Experience with a CRM software would be an asset
  • Archtics and Salesforce experience would be an asset
  • Motivated, selfdisciplined, personable, and enthusiastic about the sport of football.
  • Must be able to operate in a highly dynamic environment
  • Willing and able to work evenings, weekend and holidays as required
  • High level of integrity in dealing with customers and ability to represent the Edmonton Elks Football Club in a competent and professional manner
  • Initiate creative quality presentations that promote and reflect the core values and the image of the Edmonton Elks Football Club.
  • Sports experience preferred but not necessary
  • Experience with high level clientele and premium products
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales quotas and meeting and surpassing these targets
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

Requirements:
  • Completion of a post
  • secondary diploma or degree
  • Business and industry sales experience with a minimum of oneyear related sales experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent time and territory management skills
  • Experience with sports ticketing selling is considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of Ticketmaster (Archtics) and use of a CRM system is an asset
