About The Role


HUB International has a dynamic Marketing Consultant role based in our Oakville office reporting to the VP, Personal Insurance, Group & Retail Insurance to support programs across Ontario.

We are looking for a motivating, creative, high-energy Marketing Consultant to help drive the market towards our expertise and industry-leading solutions.

What You'll Do

Provide ongoing marketing support for national initiatives and local offices, awareness on Canadian Insurance business needs to assist in developing strategic integrated marketing solutions

Assisting with signing and launching on new Group Home & Auto Programs

Research, recommend and implement programs and initiatives to support employer groups

Ideate and manage multi-channel campaigns from concept development to execution, and directly support sales enablement. Track campaign and communication performance providing updates to lead regularly


Develop and analyze metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting company objectives and revenue milestones, as well as delivering a positive return on investment.

Identify new marketing channels to promote revenue growth to our Personal Insurance Dept.


Assisting with organization of conferences and trade shows:
Participating in planning calls

Compile reports/data, as needed

Create slides and identify relevant videos, images, quotations, etc.

Maintain annual event calendar throughout the year

Knowledge of virtual event platforms

Collaborating with internal groups

Data management/analysis/presentation

Sales activity reports

Cross sell activity reports including compiling data, tracking trends, etc.

Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities to support groups and highlight trends

Assist with the creation of marketing collateral using HUB templates

Generating incremental sales opportunities in Personal Insurance

Generating and validating a prospect list and engaging appropriate HUB sales contact

Managing and updating social media strategies as it relates to new program launches

Responsible for meeting new business budget for Personal Insurance (Group/Retail)

What You'll Need for Success

Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, with a focus in Marketing or related field


3-5 years of marketing/communications experience and working in a corporate environment in sales and/or marketing support role dealing with internal and external clients, data analytics, event management, campaign launches etc.

Budget-management skills and proficiency

Experience with managing social media marketing strategy


Proficiency in MS Office and other systems: Word, Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup, graphs), PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe InDesign or PhotoShop is an asset

Strong interpersonal (presentations), verbal and written communication skills

Data-driven and goal oriented with strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence

Creative, innovative thinker and solutions focused

Excels in a multi-deadline, fast-paced environment

Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization and troubleshooting skills

Ability to simplify and creatively solve complex problems

Strong team player who has the ability to work independently

Ability to travel within GTA for events
