Heidelberg Materials is seeking responsible, safe, Load Out Attendant to join our local team. As an Attendent you will support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use different skills every day as you learn the aggregate industry and fill in for vacancies in various areas of our plant.

What You'll Get To Do

• Operate and maintain the truck Load out system
• Maintain cleanliness of plant work areas
• Assist with plant tasks including lubrication, maintenance, repairs
• Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of basic electronics
• Familiar with conveyors and aggregate equipment an asset
• Skid steer certification required
• Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
• Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of learning through on the job training
• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
• In good physical condition
• Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required
