    This is a hybrid role with a minimum requirement to work in the office 2 days a week.

Your roleKey Tasks**:


  • Coordinate and consolidate the 3year operating and strategic plans, quarterly forecasting and target setting processes, including revenue modeling.
  • Work with operations and finance management in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts, distill and synthesize key trends, assess current and future plan and strategic risks or opportunities.
  • Assess the financial performance of Media Solutions as well as possible risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations of plans, budget and forecast information to CRO, Media Solutions Leadership Team, Finance Senior Leadership Team and Senior Executive Team.
  • Develop annual financial planning and reporting calendars, and communicate within Media Solutions Finance, working collaboratively with Network counterparts.
  • Participate in reviews with Media Solutions Leadership Team and Media Solutions Finance Executive Director requiring strong communication and business acumen skills.
  • Manage the reporting and variance analysis of consolidated information for management and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure continuous improvement relating to the internal reporting processes and content of the information reported.
  • Develop and implement consistent processes, formats and reports to enable efficient and accurate consolidation of financial and operational data.
  • Utilize Finance Management Tool (FMT) to design, develop and implement improved financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Perform other special/adhoc projects as assigned.
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years' experience in a financial management environment, with 2 years in a manager position
  • Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA) is required
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in all areas of financial reporting and analysis, accounting, budgeting and forecasting and a working understanding of IFRS
  • Capacity to interpret and reorganize data and information of a complex nature for presentation to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience building financial or decision support models
  • Experience in financial systems implementation is an asset
  • Strong communicator well known for clarity in communicating complicated concepts and information and able to interact and communicate with peers as well as management of several departments
  • Analytical, problemsolving, advanced business acumen skills
  • Must have an extremely high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as within a team
  • Flexibility, superior organizational and time management skills are required
  • Confidentiality is a must as you will work with sensitive information
  • Previous experience with SAP, Cognos/TM1 is an asset
  • Willingness to travel between Toronto/Montreal 4 to 6 times a year
  • Very strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite
