We're Xspace Learning, a new way of schooling that provides an ELL-focused, G8-12 North American system of study to students.

We increase the accessibility of quality Canadian secondary education for English language learners by bringing real-time, interactive online instruction into classrooms around the world.

We deliver online credit courses as well as non-credit ELL classes to support students in achieving a Canadian high school diploma.

The Online Facilitator functions as the liaison between the course creator and the students in order to optimize achievement of learning objectives.

The Online Facilitator is responsible for:1) providing summarized online lessons based on course content as delivered by the course creator;
2) ensuring student understanding of content by engaging them in class discussions and activities;
3) identifying needs for reinforced learning of course content (e.g. additional assignments, videos etc.);
4) providing targeted feedback to students' work;
5) providing supplementary instruction to students experiencing difficulties.

• A laptop or computer with a functional webcam and microphone
• Earphones or a headset
• High speed internet

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• TESL certification preferred
• Have at least 1 year experience working with high school students in a group instructional setting
• Have excellent English written language and fluent oral communication skills
• Comfortable with technology
• Have excellent organizational skills, creativity and adaptability
• Be able to work Tuesday to Friday from 911am China Standard Time from August 1 to September 1. Opportunity to take on additional classes in the fall is also available.
