The North Shore Neighbourhood House has been meeting the childcare needs of the community since 1939.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

POSTING DESCRIPTION:

You will have strengths in:

Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for children.**
Effective, cooperative and respectful team work and communication skills.

- Strong knowledge and awareness of child development.

- Positive guidance/discipline skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

- permanent positions need current BC ECE assistant, ECE and/or Infant Toddler license to practice.**

Casual staff need ECE assistant or ECE license to practice.

COMPENSATION:
BEFORE WE

$20.74 per hour for permanent position

$18.45 for casual position or ECEA permanent position

North Shore Neighbourhood House is fortunate to work with a Pedagogist through the Early Childhood Pedagogy Network.

Additional Wage Enhancement:

Though the Ministry of Child and Family Development there is an additional $4.00 per hour as per the ECE Wage Enhancement for B.C. ECE licensed staff. This is at the discretion of the Province of BC and may be modified or terminated at any time.
