A great way to help make your community safer Our organisation is looking for a skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our residential apartment building at 399 Markham Road, Scarborough.

What you'll be doing

Access control, CCTV surveillance, contractor escorts & report writing
Visitor management, parcel & key management
Property inspections
Assist in case of emergency, first aid or any other intervention
Interact with visitors, customers and the general public
Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people
Collect information on complaints or events
Maintain a positive, productive work environment through teamwork

What we re looking for

Valid Security Guard License
Previous experience in the security industry is an asset
Good verbal and written communication skills
Full availability including nights, afternoons, weekend, days & statutory holiday shifts
Fire panel/system knowledge
Exceptional customer service
Leadership & problemsolving skills
Capability of working in a fastpaced and potentially stressful environment
