About the Opportunity

Maintains confidentiality of all personal and financial information of residents and staff members;
Provides supportive resident services e.g. assisting with new resident orientation, maintaining business files, addressing resident account concerns, maintaining resident information system and census, fielding and responding to general inquiries;
Provides leadership and oversees provision of front office services respecting the resident's right to individualized planning of services;
Coordinates and maintains processes for financial disbursements for facility orders;
Oversees the process of orientation for new residents to the financial processes of the facility e.g. monthly invoice system, electronic funds transfer, additional services charges, etc.;
Accepts and writes receipts for cheques or cash payments from residents, family or visitors according to facility policies;
Assists in the development and manages the administration budget;
Assists in the establishment and maintenance of an effective and efficient inventory system for supplies and equipment; develops and tracks purchase orders as necessary;
Updates and maintains computerized resident information system including resident arrivals and departures, service plan, rate, suite and account charges;
About You

Office administration or related professional diploma/designation;
Minimum two years' experience in office administration;
Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures.

Excellent organizational skills;
Strong verbal, written and demonstrated computer skills;
Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
