Entry Level Position

Entry level employees start in a pool of labourers (spares) and train within various positions throughout the Mill, e.g., production, shipping and receiving.

Spares are used to fill-in for vacancies and training purposes this is a full-time position.

There is a possibility to have pay ranging from $21.96 an hour up to $29.89 as rates vary among positions.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with health and safety policies, housekeeping practices, and the use of personal protective equipment.

Complete repetitive manual work in a hot/humid and dusty environment.


Requirements:

• Education: Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Testing: Applicants will be required to pass General Aptitude Testing.
• Shift Work: Must be available to work 12hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Shifts are 6:00am6:00pm and 6:00pm6:00am.
• Environment: Must be able to work in a hot and dusty environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, discipline, and attendance.
• Ability to always work safely.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with limited supervision.
• Able to work in a hot/humid/dusty environment.
• Able to work 12hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Available to work overtime.
• Lift Truck experience is considered an asset.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience is an asset.
