    What you will be doing in the role of Shipper/Receiver:
    Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Unpacking and inspecting received goods for damage and count
  • Preparing and assembling orders for shipment, affixing proper identifying information based on shipping instructions
  • Arranging carriers for customer shipments and coordinating for customer pick-ups, as necessary
  • Operation of forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load and store goods
  • Coordinating other non-stock shipments
  • Lending support to inside/outside sales staff
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and proper storage of goods
  • Picking orders for assembly technicians
  • Verifying packing slips to purchase orders
  • Conducting monthly cycle counts for inventory
  • Final testing and shipping of product
  • Daily interfacing with internal business system / ERP software
  • Ensuring accurate inventory counts and product movement
  • Knowledge and skills required for the role:
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in shipping/receiving and/or a warehouse environment would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety issues and regulations
  • Experience with inventory control and order management software or shipping software would be considered an asset
  • Forklift certification would be considered an asset
  • Excellent time-management skills
