Job Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Refrigeration Assembler is responsible for performing assembly, installation, and inspection work according to work procedures, plans, and specifications provided. The assembler also contributes to the development of new plans and work methods for new or custom products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and braze piping systems;
• Perform electrical connections according to specifications;
• Conduct testing to ensure proper operation of equipment;
• Manage department inventory and follow up with buyers for orders and purchasing forecasts;
• Assist in creating new work methods for non-standard products, including electrical plans (voltage, amperage, phases);
• Work autonomously and resourcefully when no plans exist for custom builds;
• Communicate with estimators for system validation and adjustments;
• Prioritize tasks effectively according to the production schedule;
• Double-check resale systems and perform modifications if needed;
• Provide training when required;
• Meet and help improve production standards;
• Assist with warehouse tasks when needed.

Education and Experience Required

• Experience in welding and electrical work.
• Proficient in manual work using hand tools;
• Advanced blueprint reading (pre-employment test required);
• Follows and improves quality procedures;
• Physically capable for demanding tasks;
• Versatile and autonomous;
• Effectively organizes assembly steps;
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
