We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Travel Agent with expertise in using the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).

As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements.

Salary + commission will be provided.


Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in planning and organizing their travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travelrelated services.
• Utilize the Amadeus GDS system proficiently to search for, book, and manage travel reservations.
• Offer expert advice to clients on the best travel options, taking into consideration their preferences, budget, and specific requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information.
• Collaborate with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel service providers to negotiate and secure the best deals and rates for clients.
• Process payments and handle any necessary documentation, such as visas or travel insurance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 35 years of experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using the Amadeus GDS system is essential.
• Strong knowledge of travel industry trends, destinations, and travelrelated services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and travel service providers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple client bookings simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a teamoriented environment.
• Familiarity with travelrelated software and online booking platforms.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle unforeseen circumstances or changes in travel plans.
• A passion for travel and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for clients.
• Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills, is a prerequisite for this job. (Speaking knowledge of Persian/Farsi is an asset)

Salary:
From $31,300.00 per year
