Preschool Leader (Auxiliary):

Competition #23004A**North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities. NVRC offers a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities. We are currently seeking energetic, responsible and highly-motivated individuals who are able to prepare and lead a variety of programs and activities for preschool-aged children in a Licensed Preschool program.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
You will be delivering excellent customer experiences by working closely and cooperatively with parents, preschool teachers and other staff.

In this role, you will enforce rules and regulations and ensure that required standards of safety are maintained in the Preschool room.

ABOUT YOU
You are a courteous and effective team player committed to community. You have sound knowledge of the principles, practices and objectives of organized community recreation for preschool children. You also have a working knowledge of applicable policies, regulations and rules governing the work performed.

You are able to coordinate and participate in recreational program activities and are skilled at crafts, arts and other related activities.

You can administer routine records, statistics and files related to Preschool programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You will have a current Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or an approved alternate training/certification, with a focus on supporting child development and inclusion.

You also have Emergency Childcare First Aid (or higher) & CPR-C.
