- Strong physical assessment skills required

- Airway Management (Tracheostomy, CPAP)
- G-Tube Feeding

- Patient and family-focused care philosophy experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Current registration with the RPNO or CNO
- Must have First Aid/CPR
- Membership with your professional associate preferred(RNAO)
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the community
- Ability to integrate and apply critical thinking skills to client care
- Physically able to provide safe and timely client care
- Use of proper body mechanics to ensure safe work practices are followed, including mobility, transfers, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling

POSITION TITLE: RPN and RN (community client)
SUMMARY
The RPN and RN are accountable for providing care to client in their home. This client is at Young and Steeles, at home, and requires an experienced nurse to do nursing tasks, such as tracheostomy, G-tube feeds, Oxygen care, etc.. These are 12-hour shifts in the client's home. The activities are conducted in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and Qualicare's policies and procedures. You must have no less than 2 years of experience with tasks specified.
