Payroll Clerk / Payroll Administrator - Concord, ON

Salary:
$18 - $20 an hour.

Shift:
Monday to Friday 08:00am - 04:30pm

Major Intersection:
Westburne Drive and Basaltic Road, Concord

Job Purpose:

To process and maintain accurate and organized Payroll system. Using software and regular information from the HR.

Qualifications:

College diploma at a minimum
Excellent oral and written English
At least 1 year of experience in the payroll record keeping. including experience with different payroll software's.

Skills Required:

Experience with computerized record keeping programs
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Team player
Ability to meet deadlines
Experience in ADP payroll software or any similar will be an asset.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensure all receiving records are imported to payroll software.
Prepare cheques with back up documentation for signature.
Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all payroll accounts files.
Reconcile monthend.
Distribute incoming/outgoing mail.
Assist with HR in managing Payroll.
Any other tasks assigned by manager or senior management
Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems
