CTK Bio is a research, development and manufacturing Canadian cleantech company that converts wasted by-products into biodegradable / compostable plastic pellets and other high value materials designed to break down in managed and unmanaged environments.


Project


CTK Bio Canada is currently working on multiple organic waste based composite R&D projects with universities across Canada to replace traditional plastic.

CTK Bio Canada has a manufacturing facility for resin production and anticipates to expand industrial-scale resin plant by 2026.


Overview


As one of Canada's first sustainable resin manufacturing, CTK Bio Canada relies on the efficiency and effectiveness of our back-end fulfillment.

We consider our warehouse to be driven by a customer-centric mentality. To deliver on our promise to consumers, we count on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. Currently, we're seeking a logistics supervisor to join our team and manage back-end warehouse operations.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse daily activities including shipping & receiving, inventory control, space management, floor productivity.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and forwarding partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
  • Overseeing all supply chain operations.
  • Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers.
  • Answering customer queries.
  • Support various other related projects.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.

Required skills, Understanding, & Qualifications

Valid forklift certification is a must

  • High school diploma+
  • 1+ years experience in a warehouse
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
  • Proficiency with SCM+ and/or ERP systems for warehouse management
  • Standard First Aid & CPR
  • WHMIS certification

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
