Description
We are a busy Canadian hardwood flooring manufacturer looking to add a Packaging Associate to our growing team.- Primary Responsibilities: _
- Perform quality inspections to ensure product meets standards.
- Packaging flooring into boxes for orders, ensuring instructions are followed and packaging is neat and tidy.
- Maintaining packaging & production line area to be clean & organized.
- Accessing label making program to print required labels and maintaining inventory of these supplies.
- Picking and preparing web and sample orders as required.
- Other warehouse duties as required.
- Skills Required:_
- Repetitive lifting, up to 60lbs daily
- Carpentry/woodworking skills considered an asset
- Basic computer knowledge
- Organized and tidy
- Quick learner
- Self motivated and eager to learn
- Understands deadlines and can keep them
- Hardworking and flexible
- Forklift licence not required but considered an asset
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
