Quill Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., has an immediate opening for a 5 Ton City Driver.

This position is Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm


Responsibilities:


  • Pickup and deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance check and pre trip/post trip inspection
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload freight in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner
  • Handling of freight and freight documents
  • Adhere to all safety and traffic laws
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • All other duties as requested
  • DUTIES WILL VARY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE OPERATION

Qualifications:


  • Class 5 License
  • Good customer service skills and a customeroriented attitude
  • Thorough knowledge of equipment usage and repair
  • Experience in loading and unloading
  • Knowledge of city routes and country routes
