Job Description:


The Digital Product Owner is responsible for the transactional sites of UAP Heavy Vehicles, more specifically the Traction, TW and Cadel sites.

He ensures the proper functioning of the e-commerce platforms ("run and maintain") by managing problem resolution ("tickets") and prioritizing the backlog.

He mobilizes the different IT teams of UAP, GPC and subcontractors to achieve the objectives.


He is also responsible for the development of new functionalities (from the understanding of the needs to the implementation of the solution), which will meet the needs of the customers and will be in line with the company's objectives.

He/she will manage development projects by mobilizing all available human, technical and financial resources. He/she will prioritize the projects, respect the budget and communicate the improvements to the network.


The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring technology and proposing new solutions to develop our e-commerce platforms in order to ensure the growth of digital sales.

In addition, he/she will be responsible for user issues (whether it be registration, login or account issues).


The Product Owner will report to the Marketing Director and will work closely with the eCatalog Manager and the Digital Content Coordinator.

This synergy will ensure that our customers have an online shopping experience that is superior to any competition in the country.


Your responsibilities will be to:

Run and Maintain

  • Act as the owner of the Traction, TW and Cadel ecommerce sites
  • Ensures the smooth operation of the sites and optimizes their performance.
  • Represent the business to the IT teams of UAP, GPC and external suppliers
  • Proactively manage the resolution of technical issues from ticket creation to resolution
  • Prioritizes the backlog to optimize the use of our resources to achieve our business objectives
  • Ensures that all systems interact optimally: Hybris (Traction), KeCommerce (Cadel, TW), Step (PIM system), ETL, Asset Management, and others.

Development

  • Manages the development of new functionalities (from the understanding of the needs to the implementation of the solution), which will meet the needs of the clientele and will be in line with the company's objectives
  • Prioritize development projects by considering the effort and value of improvements and optimizing the return on investment
  • Improve the UX
  • Manages the development budget
  • Approve acceptance tests
  • Communicate improvements to the sales force and customers
  • User issues
  • Addresses issues and ensures resolution (registration, login, accounts)
  • Ensures optimal L3 service level (GPC support team)

Technology Solutions

  • Proposes technological solutions to allow more customers to benefit from our electronic platforms (Associates, customers, punch out)
  • Leads projects with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Measures potential and results
  • Communicates solutions and acts as a resource person for their use
  • Technology watch
  • Keeps up to date on what is being done in the world of ecommerce, both in terms of functionality and technological solutions used

Qualifications:


To join our team, you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-business or other relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of ebusiness or technology delivery experience in business analysis, functional requirements analysis and product roadmap planning.
  • Experience in scrum/agile development methodology.
  • Experience participating in prioritization and backlog improvement/refinement.
  • Demonstrated experience with analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to use data to break down complex problems and formulate plans.
  • Experience with ecommerce businesses and the highlevel processes and technologies involved, including ecommerce platforms, web content management, product content management tools, a/b testing tools and website traffic analysis platforms and tools.
  • Effective bilingual (French and English) verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders, vendors, senior management and staff.
