Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented CAD Drafter to join our team.

As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and modify designs based on project requirements, assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists and cost estimates
• Develop technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on project needs. Assist in system design and layout for various projects
• Incorporate electrical wiring and logic controllers into design plans
• Prepare and update documentation, including bill of materials, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by reviewing and verifying all dimensions, materials, and specifications revising drawings as necessary, based on feedback from engineers or clients
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology
• Utilize Bluebeam software for markups and annotations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and principles
• Ability to meet tight deadlines as needed
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in 2D animation or visualization software is an asset
