Position Summary:


This position is responsible for regular monitoring and provision of support to clients to enable them to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible.

Duties include monitoring, observing, assisting with and participating in housekeeping and homemaking activities, recreational and social activities.

No personal care is required in this role and great for individuals with no experience but looking to get into the healthcare field.


_This position requires access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license._

Employment Requirements:


  • Some high school education. Prior experience or knowledge of providing support services for people with disabilities and/or seniors an asset.
  • Ability to empathize with people with physical and emotional needs is essential.
  • Knowledge of basic math and ability to do calculations and quantity measurements are required.
  • Must be able to plan and organize work and perform tasks according to priority.
  • Ability to make solid decisions and problemsolve effectively are also essential.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with a competent level of English are required.
  • Must demonstrate high commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be reliable, punctual, and capable of managing time effectively.
  • Ability to develop supportive relationships and work collaboratively with clients, family members, colleagues, volunteers, and community partners are essential.
  • Must be able to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • As a condition of employment you are required to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated or provide proof of valid exemption satisfactory to the employer prior to your start date._
