    Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Research Assistant to join a large, Global technology client on-site in Toronto.

    They will be joining a group focused on research, building prototypes, and evaluating novel interactions for human experiences in AR/VR.

    The Research Collaborator will be heavily involved with Engineers and Researchers to prepare and help maintain labs to run human experiments of between people.

    It is their responsibility to coordinate approvals, reviews, and help carry out study protocol.

    They will work in-person to conduct experiments, including recruiting and briefing participants; obtaining consent; running through studies in the simulated setting/environment; ensuring the data is properly documented and the results are communicated to the larger team.

    The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, can adapt to a fast-paced environment, think on their feet to anticipate and resolve problems, and someone on a career path towards a Researcher role.

    Must haves Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Artificial intelligence/cognitive science, neuroscience/psychology, or closely related study1+ years of experience working on research studies in a lab, with human subjects/participants
    Masters graduate or past education/academia research experience with lab work Passionate about Research and working with people (able to keep them at ease and represent the company well) Excellent communication and organizational skillsNice to Have Technical skills with AR/VR software, coding, prototyping Research assistant in their Education/schoolingRelevant customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
