Description

We are seeking a
reliable and experienced Bilingual Commercial Driver for our client that distributes essential foods to your neighborly supermarkets.

As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our clients while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
Safely load, unload, and secure goods using proper equipment and techniques.
Deliver the products in supermarkets and proceed to unload the products to our clients.
Work in clean environments
Create durable relationships with the clients whilst offering an unprecedented service
Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers in both English and French
:

Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
Complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly, including bills of lading, trip reports, and delivery receipts.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid AZ/DZ commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Fluent in both English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience as a commercial driver.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
Must be available from Monday to Friday during the day.
