Project ManagerJob Deliverables:
Managing the project in SNB's Project Management System (Clarity) including weekly status reports, completion progress of tasks, and weekly timesheets from all project team members.
Detailed planning activities for each phase (i.e. development activities, schedule, etc.)Project delivery and management for each phase (i.e. resources, risk, issue, change management, etc.)Project monitoring and controlling activities (i.e. status reports, change requests, risk & issue management, etc.)Documented results and recommendations from discovery phasesThe Project Manager will ensure the project team engages the Senior Systems Analyst and DBA resources from the SNB Business Applications Services – client team to contribute to the creation of architecture and system design deliverables as part of the design processThe Project Manager will ensure the project team engages the SNB Business Applications Services – client team for code reviewsOperational Transition planning and execution including defining standard operating procedures, operational plans, and support processes for each phase of production implementation.
Documented and defined a maintenance plan and schedule that is maintainable and integrated into the broader SNB Client support plans.
Ensures knowledge and understanding of business and technical knowledge pertaining to the system components and business needs is made to the Client Operations team prior to the closing of the project.
Facilitating Steering Committees and providing detailed reportingProject closure activities (business acceptance of solution, close out of logs and documents, project debrief with client and SNB teams, lessons identified, and project close reports)Must Haves:A minimum of 8 years of clearly demonstrated and verifiable experience in Information Management/Information Technology
Scored Requirements:
Demonstrated work experience as a Senior IT Project Manager working in IT system development and support, including impact on business processes and organizational security.
Demonstrated work experience using Agile methodology, running scrum meetings, and using Epics, Features, and Stories.
Demonstrated work experience working with, and leading cross-functional business and technical teams that include a mix of in-house and external resources and stakeholders.
Indicate the work type, amount, duration, and scope.Demonstrated experience in the Early Childhood Development domain, within any jurisdiction in North America.
Demonstrated work experience in project organizational change management. (i.e. successfully transitioning project work activities and knowledge to operational teams.)PMI, PRINCE2, or other industry-recognized project management accreditation would be considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience with the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel, SharePoint, Visio, and Project and communication technology such as Skype, Zoom, or Teams.
