Description

The Hotel Sales Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of sales duties, including supporting the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, collaboration with other departments, and running sales reports.

The employee holding this position should have at least experience in sales administration, hotel front desk operation, and must have excellent communication skills.

With direct oversight and support from the Sales Manager will help ensure the hotel meets and exceeds goals.


Job Duties:
*Establish and maintains accounts and develops relationships in the marketplace

*Make proposals, contracts and putting everything in the system religiously

*Ensures prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts

*Maintains all sales systems, such as sales records and reports, and keep proper record keeping of contracts and groups method of payments.

  • Enter all rooming lists and ensure group files are updated for all groups and events.
*Solicit feedback to identify future business needs

*Responds quickly to guests' requests/concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
*Coordinate with Front desk and Food & Beverage areas on all group meeting set ups and services

*Maintains high visibility in the community and in the hospitality community

*Perform other duties as assigned

*Provides general office administration including, filing, monitoring and replacement of collateral, office supplies etc.

*Creation of proposals, contracts, from lead through booking, contract finalization and up selling and guest satisfaction follow up.


The Hotel Sales Coordinator professionally represents the hotel brand through the creation of a value based workplace environment where team mates and guests are treated in a fair, respectful and honorable manner.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Enthusiastic, attentive and approachable.
years experience within the hospitality industry with experience with sales, meeting or event planning is preferred.

  • Acts with a sense of commitment and integrity, lives with honor, desires success, strives for excellence, and is not afraid of opportunities.
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Effective communicator (written and oral).
  • Skilled negotiator.
  • Effective multitasker with the ability to continuously reprioritize daily activities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Possesses proven technical knowledge of Microsoft Office and windows based programs.
  • Strong organizational and decisionmaking skills.
  • Maintains a workplace environment that understands and respects policies and procedures.
  • Represents the hotel and the brand in a professional manner at all times.
  • Actively participates in local community events.
  • Desires ongoing professional development.

Salary:
From $37,000.00 per year
