Part-Time - Shop Helper for busy Cabinet Shop
We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our woodworking Shop Hand.

This role involves maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and light maintenance within our workshop, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our team.

Responsibilities

• Clean woodworking equipment, tools, and surfaces regularly.
• General janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain a tidy workspace
• Monitoring stock levels for supplies
• Organize woodworking materials, including lumber, hardware, and supplies.
• Assist in the disposal of waste materials and recycling efforts.
• Keep workstations and common areas organized and clutterfree.
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs and assist as instructed.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries
• Running errands
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a hazardfree environment.

Skill Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning or organizing, preferably in a workshop or industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Availability to work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in the morning.
• Experience in machine maintenance is an asset.
• Valid driver's license
