Responsibilities

Package 1: Case marking: 22 minutes per student * 90 students = 33 hours (Case Test on July 3)Package 2: Midterm marking: 20 minutes per student * 90 students = 30 hours (Midterm on June 5)Package 3: Final Exam marking: 20 minutes per student * 81 students = 27 hours (Final Exam on July 24)

Total Hours of Work will depend on which package(s) assigned.

Qualifications

Enrolled in: 4th year of Ryerson Undergraduate Program.
Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) or above.
Must have completed course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or above grade level.
Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Relevant Experience:

A cumulative GPA from any university or college which represents a B average or higher. A CPA designation is preferred. Considerable experience with the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation, including sufficient experience in assessing financial accounting cases and technical financial accounting problems, is a significant asset. Experience marking the Common Final Exam for CPA Canada would also be an asset. Will be expected to show a high level of knowledge of financial accounting, both IFRS and ASPE. Salary & Compensation

Effective January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023
TA I and TA II - $36.39 per hour
Master - $47.06 per hour
PhD - $50.82 per hour
