Job Summary


Speech-Language Ottawa is looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work both in-person and online with populations from preschool to school age, with some adult clients also available.

Flexible options for weekly hours. We are a team of passionate professionals delivering client-centred assessment and therapy in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide speech and language assessment, therapy and consultation for a mainly paediatric client base with a range of abilities and needs
  • Work closely with clients, families and other professionals on the implementation of therapy goals
  • Work independently with clients and their families
  • Collaborate and consult with other healthcare practitioners to support continuity of care for clients
  • Create and deliver motivating therapy plans and home practice activities
  • Educate clients and families to support carryover of skills

Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters' degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Registered with or eligible for registration with CASLPO. In good standing with CASLPO if registered.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) an asset but not required
  • Ability to design and follow effective treatment plans
  • Experience with paediatric and schoolaged populations and working with children on the Autism Spectrum are considered assets
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and time management skills
  • Able to work independently, organized, motivated
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance
  • Valid driver's license
