Job Summary
Speech-Language Ottawa is looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work both in-person and online with populations from preschool to school age, with some adult clients also available.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide speech and language assessment, therapy and consultation for a mainly paediatric client base with a range of abilities and needs
- Work closely with clients, families and other professionals on the implementation of therapy goals
- Work independently with clients and their families
- Collaborate and consult with other healthcare practitioners to support continuity of care for clients
- Create and deliver motivating therapy plans and home practice activities
- Educate clients and families to support carryover of skills
Qualifications and Skills
- Masters' degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Registered with or eligible for registration with CASLPO. In good standing with CASLPO if registered.
- Bilingualism (French and English) an asset but not required
- Ability to design and follow effective treatment plans
- Experience with paediatric and schoolaged populations and working with children on the Autism Spectrum are considered assets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and time management skills
- Able to work independently, organized, motivated
- Eligible for professional liability insurance
- Valid driver's license
