Piano Piano Uptown is an established neighbourhood restaurant located in Leaside that is focused on tasty and F*&%'in delicious pizza and pasta.


We are growing and we are looking to add an experienced hospitality/service minded individual to our dynamic team Memorable guest experiences start with informed happy employees.

Responsibilities include:

- classic and contemporary cocktail knowledge
- ability to up-sell and optimize guest orders
- ability to thrive within a hybrid server/bartender role
- ability to navigate wine list and accurately describe beverage selections
- ability to engage and build lasting relationships with our guests
- ability to successfully communicate with FOH / BOH staff members
- ability to anticipate guest requests
- sporadic lifting of tables and lightly heavy objects
- must be able to work at least 1-2 lunch shifts


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years service/ bartending experience in a fastpaced restaurant
- intermediate wine knowledge is a must
- high energy and a positive attitude
- real-time problem solving
- ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- organized
- good communication skills
- smart serve required


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
$15.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M4S 2M9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- serving: 5 years (required)


  • Bartending: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Smart Serve (required)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (preferred)
  • Day Shift (preferred)
