    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Distribution Centre, the Warehouse Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support for the Distribution Centre (DC). This position is the main point of contact at the DC and effectively and efficiently coordinates the communication flow in the Distribution Centre. The Warehouse Administrator supports payroll, health and safety administrative functions, warehouse administration, and warehouse reporting which leads to smooth warehouse operations on daily basis.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Provide administrative support for the Health and Safety program including document management, system reporting, and is an active member of the health and safety committee.
    • Execute daily warehouse and inventory control administration requirements.
    • Collaborate with UFA purchasing department to work on vendor claims/issues for receiving.
    • Accountable for checking in visitors/contractors/drivers and provide Safety orientation for the warehouse.
    • Collaborate with internal UFA departments both at DC, field and head office to ensure customer service, safety and operational targets are achieved.
    • Ensure office supplies and equipment is in good repair and of adequate supply.
    • Provide data analytics support to warehouse supervisors on daily operational efficiency numbers.
    • Collaborate with Assistant DC manager and warehouse supervisors to identify areas of improvement in warehouse operations.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma is required.
    • Certification in Warehouse Administration or any equivalent certification in supply chain is an asset.
    • More than 3 years administrative experiences with focus on warehouse support an asset.
    • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Applications.
    • SAP, Dynamics 365 (FO) and KRONOS experience an asset.
    • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
    • Strong oral and written communication.
    • Highly skilled in prioritization and ability to meet operational deadlines.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-Motivated
