PuroClean Property Paramedics provide 24-Hour emergency services and cleaning to people who have suffered water, fire and mold loss to their homes and businesses.


Employee Responsibilities will include:


  • Maintenance, cleaning and monitoring of drying equipment used in the mitigation process.
  • Completion of basic vehicle maintenance inspections and cleaning; including vehicle restocking to ensure service readiness at all times.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist other team members with property deconstruction and debris removal.
  • Repeated heavy lifting and handling loads of various size, shape and weight.
  • Mandatory participation in the On Call schedule for servicing after hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
  • Safety consideration as a first priority in all situations, especially during restoration activities, to include the proper use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:


_Mandatory_

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada;
-
Valid Class 5 driver's license;:

  • Clean criminal record;
  • Must pass entrance driving record check and be insurable;
  • Corporate mandate for periodic drug screening and background checks;
  • To be available and respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year as required and/or scheduled; participation in On Call rotation;
  • Consistently maintain high level of excellent customer satisfaction

_Physical_

  • Reasonable level of physical fitness with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions of the work environments customary for this type of work. This is a physically demanding industry. You must be capable of moving furniture and other household contents as well as required equipment;
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces (crawlspaces and attics);
  • Able to work for extended periods of time in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Updated immunizations/vaccinations, especially Hepatitis A & B and tetanus.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basiclevel computer literacy;

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills and great sensitivity to customers' difficult situations;
  • Good problem solving, decision making and analytical skills;

  • Ability to work overtime and oncall hours (nights and weekends) as required;

Previous experience in the restoration industry is an asset;

Salary:
$17.00-$24.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
