Job summary
The Venue Rental Coordinator provides exceptional customer service and is responsible for the successful execution of Gibsons Public Market's rentals program.The role supports the Manager, Social Enterprise & Operations in prospecting potential renters building relationships promoting Gibsons Public Market as a rental venue.
Responsibilities include coordinating venue rentals ensuring renters have an exceptional experience liaising with renters caterers contractors event planners to ensure successful use of our venue providing on-site support during most rentals ensuring renters are aware of compliance with rental policies safety requirements collecting feedback on client s rental experience
- Ensure clean organized spaces at all times
- Oversee equipment inventory identify escalate any problems conflicts related to rentals management assist manager operations prospecting potential renter build relationship promote market as renting space create update marketing communications related venue rentals general support customer service required coordinate art @the market programs execute larger organizational events fundraisers perform light maintenance hands tasks answer phone inquiries facilitate daily sales memberships aquarium admission answer direct customers handle cash point of sale systems balance day sales follow directions work independently be flexible assist in house events programs assigned duties require
