Job Summary:
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision
- Maintain food safety standards while handling and preparing food items
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
Experience:
- Previous experience in a barista role or similar position is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in food service industry is a plus
- Familiarity with various coffee brewing techniques is advantageous
