Full-Time | Evenings & Weekends Required

Cook County Steakhouse is hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team. We are looking for a dependable professional who can work efficiently under pressure, maintain consistency, and contribute to a strong team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and steakhouse standards
• Cook steaks and proteins to proper temperatures with accuracy and consistency
• Manage a high-volume station during peak service hours
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Follow all food safety and health regulations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Assist with prep, stocking, and inventory rotation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years line cook experience required
• High-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure
• Knowledge of grilling, sautéing, broiling, and proper meat temperatures
• Ability to multitask and maintain quality during busy shifts
• Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
