Our Finance team will be adding more support as we look hire a full time Invoicing Specialist.

The Invoicing Specialist will work at our Support Center located in Coquitlam, BC reporting to the Finance Team Lead. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm with the occasional overtime when it's needed (ie. month end, yearend).


About the Role:

As our Invoicing Specialist we want you to own this role.

With the support of the team, you will be responsible for striving for excellence when it comes to the invoicing function of our Finance Team.

This includes things like...

  • Preparation of rental, sale, services, damage, and loss invoicing, achieving deadlines and ensuring accuracy and completeness for all costs charged to customers
  • Keep internal Project related POs in our ERP current and accurate
  • Work with the team to develop invoicing training procedures
  • Assist the team in setting priorities and objectives in line with the company's overall goals
  • Assist in monthly project related reports
  • Credit card payments and AR credits as needed
  • Process sale credits as needed

What you bring to the table:

  • An alignment with our values and purpose; this is a must
  • Previous experience with SAP B
  • Relevant invoicing experience in a midlarge size company; experience in Canada and the US would be great
  • Experience with collections is an asset
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales taxes (PST & GST)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decisionmaking skills
  • You're friendly and generally have a positive outlook on life
  • Strong communication; including being a good listener
  • You are ok when things don't go as planned because things don't always go as planned
  • Teamwork isn't just a buzzword to you
  • You can work MS Office with your eyes closed; we are paperless which is why computer proficiency is critical
  • You can manage pressure; the pressure gets high sometimes in this work, you're ok with that AND ok with asking for help
