This opportunity


As a leader within the Service Innovation and Support team, the Manager (Project Management Office), works in a high paced environment managing multiple priorities with varying degrees of complexity with a variety of stakeholders all with diverse needs.

The PMO manages medium to large scale systems development projects and major corporate initiatives that support business needs and improves government service delivery.

This position also supervises Project Managers and Business Analysts whom work with departments in a collaborative manor to deliver projects and solve program area needs.

We are looking for a highly organized team player with a strong client focus and interpersonal skills with curiosity and sense of urgency to address issues and solve problems.


Essential Qualifications (what we're looking for in your resume):

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science/Management or a relevant program of study;
  • Experience writing business cases to translate business requirements into technical solutions as well as efficiency gains based on business outcomes
  • Experience preparing reports as well as requests for proposals (RFPs) and tender packages;
  • Experience with contract and vendor management
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an asset.
  • Ability to direct and manage the planning, development and implementation of information management strategies and information systems initiatives;
  • Experience consulting and building relationships to work with government departments and stakeholders;
  • Strong communication, organizational, facilitation and problem solving skills;
  • Experience with strategic planning and identifying needs and outcomes
  • Effective research and analytical skills; Knowledge of ITIL.
