National OHS & HR Manager (Bilingual)


REPORTS TO:
Director of HR


LOCATION:
Vancouver or Quebec City


We are looking for a bilingual
National OHS & HR Manager to join our HR Team Our National OHS & HR Manager will work as a liaison for the various departments of the business, leading the company health and safety program, being a key advocate for employees as well as managing the employee experience for the Operational team.

In this role, you will work closely with our Operations team to provide HR Guidance and build talent within the organization.

You must be customer-focused, empathetic, resourceful, and be able to thrive and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment Some exciting challenges for this role include the strategic development, change management and the deployment of the operation excellence tools around the 3 main responsibilities of our HR Manager.

EXPERIENCE

  • You have 8+ years of experience working in Human Resources
  • You have experience in fullcycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions March 8, 202
  • You are experienced in handling employee relations matters from investigations through to corrective action and termination of employment.
  • You have a degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • You have CPHR designation.
  • You have experience working in a culturally diverse work environment.
  • You have experience working in CPG industry.
  • Strong experience of managing the transformation in a matrix environment

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Lean certification (lean master, 6 sigma or others)

THINGS YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure your client group adhere to all laws and established HR policies and procedures.
  • Support in the creation and training of company policies and training programs
  • Champion activities related to recruitment, onboarding, training and retention.
  • Lead various programs and actively participate in a related HR project work.
  • Serve as an employee advocate and partner with the management team to unpack challenges and implement solutions.
  • Working closely with the VP of Operations & the HR Director to develop all the strategies around the H&S, Succession and the employees experience.
  • Develop and tracks measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that processes are transparent and measured.

OTHER

  • Must be bilingual in French and English
  • You may on occasion work at varied times as the job requires to support multiple provinces from BC to QC
  • Available for travelling 25% of the time across Canada
