What we're looking for
We're in search of an Accounting Admin who understands the vital role that accounting and finance plays in growing and sustaining a successful business.
You are passionate about budgets, identifying areas where we can improve, and excited by the possibility of making your mark on a growing company.
You'll be working alongside our Staff Accountant to ensure the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of a growing Finance department.

AR/AP Clerk
- AP/AR Inbox Monitoring and escalation
- Data Entry for invoices and receipts
- Ensuring that all receipts are collected, recorded and filed accordingly
- Reconciliation with monthly account statements
- Supporting quality control: ensuring that invoices and records are accurate and that all billing details are correct
- Call customers to ensure all outstanding accounts are collected within payment terms, while responding to internal and external inquiries and requests as they arise
- Support team in preparing weekly reporting to update to management to provide visibility on the status of outstanding receivables
- Identify and monitor any atrisk accounts that may require being written off
- Assist with execution of adhoc projects related to process improvements to support the Accounting Team
- Purchasing research: identifying the best vendors / products in support of our operations

- You are collaborative; we have a strong team dynamic and it will be important for you to be able to work alongside different teams at various levels of seniority
You have:
- Accounting related experience or education, and/or a combination or data entry and administrative work (min. 1 year)
- Experience with Quickbooks (or other accounting software) considered an asset
- Familiarity with
Google Workspace:
intermediate proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong organizational skills and time management
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
Salary:
From $35,000.00 per year
