What you will do:

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair or replace defective parts, and make suggestions for potential improvements,
Follow preventative maintenance programs and maintain records,
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery,
Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and lift trucks,
Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures, inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions,
Performs other duties as required

Your qualifications:

High school diploma
A minimum of 3 years of related experience
Overhead crane and forklift training and operation experience
Repairing and maintaining fabrication shop equipment and hand tools
Experience working at heights

What you bring to the position:

Knowledge of all tools and equipment and their use
Strong mechanical aptitude
Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
Time management, organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 kg.
Safety conscious
