The position will give you a front row seat to learn how a Steel Buyer / Field Estimator operates while lining up work for our crews and making sure our customers have a great experience.
Basic outline of the job:
The Steel Buyer / Field Estimator position consists of being and living on the road daily, working hours per day, setting up meetings with customers (who have called in for a quote proposal) and purchasing of scrap metal in order to stay ahead for the recycling cleanup crews.
The responsibilities included and not limited to:
- Booking your own appointments
- Walking and estimating customers yard for the volume they have
- Buying and securing volume of scrap metal
- Putting up marketing material out in the field
- Generating leads through customer referrals
- Data entry

You have an outgoing personality with a great attitude, are trust worthy and can adapt to changing situations on the fly.
You aren't afraid of working long hours and take great pride in making sure your customer has a great experience in dealing with you.
You've got strong communication skills and work well with mínimal supervision and with fellow team membersThe experience & qualifications you bring:
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
- Willingness to work on the road, away from home, 34 nights per week.
- Willingness to work 10+ hours per day
- Experience in the Agricultural field is considered an asset.
- Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract.

Salary:
$90,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
