ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that all departments in the dealership are run effectively and profitably.
Plan the dealership's operations for the coming year.
Develop and execute plans to ensure dealership success and profitability.
Review and consult with Human Resources on compensation plans for all employees.
Ensure that departmental managers are training and supervising employees for optimum effectiveness.
Communicate company policies and procedures to all departmental managers and employees to ensure that they are understood and complied with.
Conduct managers' meetings on a regular basis.
Obtain, review, and recommend improvements for each department manager's plans and proposals.
Complete performance evaluations of each department on a regular basis.
Develop and maintain good working relationship with vendors and manufacturers.
Must follow Company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Previous management experience.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communicational skills.
The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and supervise employees.
Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized system.
Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
