ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensure that all departments in the dealership are run effectively and profitably.
  • Plan the dealership's operations for the coming year.
  • Develop and execute plans to ensure dealership success and profitability.
  • Review and consult with Human Resources on compensation plans for all employees.
  • Ensure that departmental managers are training and supervising employees for optimum effectiveness.
  • Communicate company policies and procedures to all departmental managers and employees to ensure that they are understood and complied with.
  • Conduct managers' meetings on a regular basis.
  • Obtain, review, and recommend improvements for each department manager's plans and proposals.
  • Complete performance evaluations of each department on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Must follow Company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Previous management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communicational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and supervise employees.
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized system.
  • Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
