Job purpose

• To assist the Production Supervisor in performing productionrelated activities to ensure efficient workflows and departmental productivity._

Duties and responsibilities

• Follow all Health & Safety rules and protocols and Code of Conduct
• Complete order prep for sewing department
• Make boxes
• Cut tags
• Move boxes to work centers
• Stock boxes with required production materials (ie. retainers, precuts, etc)

Complete various production tasks as required using a variety of production equipment

Pre-tag flanges
Turn/invert and pack bags
Layer, turn and stuff bags
Die cut bags
Pack flanges
Bundle and box bags
End weld and/or flange weld
Mark bags for cutting department

• Miscellaneous janitorial duties as required

• Basic math skills
• Computer literacy

• Capable of independent and team work
• Attention to detail
• Quick learner

• Prolonged standing and walking
• Frequent lifting 35 lbs maximum

Salary:
From $16.50 per hour
