Job Summary:

We are looking for an
E-Commerce Administrator to join our team.

This individual will support us as we transition our e-commerce platform from NopCommerce to Adobe Commerce, and take on managing the day-to-day of our platforms.


Responsibilities:


Adobe Commerce Configuration and Administration:


  • Configure and maintain the Adobe Commerce platform to ensure customer ecommerce experience, optimal performance and functionality.
  • Implement and manage extensions, plugins, and other components that have been integrated with Adobe Commerce. (eg. Typeform)
  • Stay uptodate on any Adobe Commerce updates. Selftrain through online courses.

Content Management

  • Onboard marketing content (ie. web banners, blog and copy across the site).
  • Create templates for any new page layouts.
  • Implement SEO best practices as directed to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic.

Merchandising Support

  • Check with vendors on seasonal updates/new products.
  • Onboard new products and edit existing products, including product pricing as needed.
  • Work with the Marketing team to optimize product pages, descriptions, and multimedia content.
  • Assign product onboarding data entry and editing tasks to our offshore team as required.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy as products are onboarded.
  • Ensure accuracy of colour assortments and flag any issues.
  • Fully QA all assigned work, and your own work.
  • Competitive pricing checks against industry.
  • Ensure merchandised products do not stay in stagnant positions, and that topsellers are always in priority positions.

Training & Documentation Management

  • Provide training and support to other members of the Marketing team on platform usage and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system usage, specifically Adobe customizations / functionality that are unique to our organization.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access levels for various stakeholders.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

  • Respond promptly to system issues and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.

Learn existing systems while we transition to Adobe Commerce

  • Take on all of the above tactics within our NopCommerce platform.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 2 years experience as an Adobe Commerce (Magento) Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Patience, as we are in implementation stage and all aspects of Adobe Commerce are new to the organization.
