Part-time Front Desk Attendant - Woodstock, Canada - City of Woodstock
Description
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:- excellent communication skills,
- experience handling cash and using Legend is an asset
- computer skills mandatory,
- Standard First Aid w/CPR and AED certificates.
Duties:
Performs receptionist duties for Parks and Recreation department, such as, but not limited to:
i. responds to telephone and counter inquiries,
ii. receives and process aquatic facility bookings and program registrations, using registration software,
iii. knowledge of all programs,
iv. monitors activities of public in change rooms and lobby,
v. administrative duties
vi. knowledge and understanding of admission standards
Performs cashier duties, such as, but not conclusive:
i. processes program registrations and fees,
ii. receives admission fees and issues admissions for programs,
iii. prepares daily cash reconciliation,
iv. prepares bank deposit slips,
v. operate legend and debit/credit card machine,
vi. sells merchandise e.g. goggles etc.,
Performs other facility related duties:
- Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time.
- Works with general supervision.
- Assist customers with any concerns or questions
Hours of work not to exceed forty-eight (48) hours in a two week period in accordance with the C.U.P.E., Local Inside/Part-time Unit collective agreement
