Youare the liaison between your team and upper management. Your main focus is motivating,mentoring, and managing your team.
As a people manager, you ensure that your teamhas all the tools needed to succeed in any task during a shift.
Youprovide direction and leadership to the team and have a hands-on approach tohealth & safety, productivity, yields, equipment operation, training,quality, and continuous improvement within your department.
Withmore than 100,000 products installed worldwide, your efforts will ensure ahighly motivated work environment and the highest quality and reliability ofproducts for our customers.
HowYou'll Make an Impact
- Take initiative and exercise timelyand good judgment in the daytoday business decisions and activities.
- Drive key performance indicators for thearea of responsibility (i.e., line speeds, efficiency, waste, labor costs,compliance to schedule, etc.).
- Work in partnership with theMaintenance department to assist in the prevention/rectification of breakdowns.
- Document and maintain accuraterecords with respect to employee performance, product quality, dailyreconciliation, health and safety, and payroll.
- Involvement in safety audits,identification of hazards and corrections, and other preventative approaches.
- Execute accident investigations ina timely and accurate fashion and carry out any followup required as a resultof the investigation.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Adept at the ability to motivate others in a deadlinefocusedenvironment
- Ability to evaluate and dive deep into data to providethoughtprovoking, workable business solutions
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Mindset and vision to lead change management initiatives
- Minimum five years of experience within a manufacturingenvironment; minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
