Grand Erie District School Board represents more than 27,000 students in 58 elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

As an Employment Consultant, you will work with an assigned caseload to motivate and support clients through their journey to sustainable employment.
This Includes assessment, job search support, skill development work preparation and other activities as outlined in their Employment Action Plan.
Maintain regular client contact to provide employment consulting services, employment support and client follow up to meet performance expectations. Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and resources. Manage a challenging workload with excellent documentation and report writing abilities.Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience working with clients of all ages facing multiple barriers to employment and relevant post secondary education is preferred.
- Experience with client management software Is required. Working knowledge of EOIS CAMS and FedCap Cares would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the local labour market and the ability to facilitate virtually and in person Is required.
- Fluency in French Is a strong asset.
